As you notice, there are some of OS 6 for BlackBerry Bold 9700 that have not CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) support. Get CJK (characters and font) support on an OS 6 that originally did not have it, by follow these simple steps:
- Download the zip file (Click the link below to download).
- Unzip the file.
- Copy the COD files to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\*9700M_v6.0.0.448_P6.6.0.124\Java
- Copy the ALX file to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\*9700M_v6.0.0.448_P6.6.0.124\
- Plug in the your device.
- Load up DM, click on Application, choose the language support (Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Thai) you would like to install.
- Click on Apply, wait for the process to complete and your phone to reboot completely before disconnecting.
- Done!
